Kunyami has no health facility. For the people who live there, basic care has meant a journey elsewhere, or no care at all.

On 14 February 2026 the MedWHOLE Health team ran a free medical outreach in the community. Every person was registered and triaged first, then moved through consultation, laboratory investigation, nursing, nutritional assessment, counselling, dispensing and referral.

These are not statistics. They are people who had no access to care, and then they did.

All seven had their operations. All seven recovered.

The seven surgical cases were referred to Gibonna Women's Hospital, Garki, through MedWHOLE's partnership there. Every procedure was completed. There were no post-operative complications.

The outreach also produced something nobody planned for: the young volunteers who worked the service units that day became the pioneer cohort of ComPart.
